Reversed Phase Octadecyl Silanized Silica Gel

These reversed phase TLC plates have been manufactured to be greater than 50% and less than 100% silanized. Because of this they are hydrophobic, but wettable (unlike CAT# P164077 & P165077 which are 100% silanized).

FEATURES:

Note: These 10x20cm plates have the preadsorbent zone on the shorter side, therefore the plates must be run vertically in a 20cm tall chamber (thus the "high form" designation).

Recomended Applications:  aminophenols, barbiturates, preservatives, nucleobases, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, steroids, tetracyclines, plasticizers (phthalates)
