The Rotor Scraper Kit is used for preparing a homemade Rotor for use on the CycloGraph centrifugal chromatography system. Included in the kit are the scraping tool and 6 scraping blades (1, 2, 4, 6, 8 mm and finishing blade).
Since 2006 Miles Scientific (previously Analtech) has been shipping Rotors in a pre-scraped format. This means that they are ready for immediate use right out of the packaging. However, there are still situations when scraping a Rotor down to a smaller size or trimming the inner edge of a rotor would be necessary or beneficial. It is for these situations that the Scraper Kit is still available.
